Taste of Australia 2018 with Barangaroo Head Chef Cory Campbell

AusBG was delighted to present Taste of Australia on Friday 26 October 2018 at the Rosewood Hotel, Abu Dhabi. Chef Cory Campbell from Barangaroo House in Sydney not only took us on a journey of refined contemporary Australian cuisine but also highlighted throughout his menu indigenous ingredients from Australia provided by Pure South Dubai The food was stunning as were the Victorian wines supplied by Spinneys; De Bortoli Wines, Innocent Bystander and Penfolds

We would like to thank our amazing sponsors and supporters, without them and their support events like Taste of Australia are just not possible.

Etihad Airways delivered us Chef Cory Campbell and Chef Omar in style and the Rosewood Hotel Abu Dhabi ensured they had their beauty sleep MLA and Food Source International supplied the outstanding produce used on the night and all topped off with entertainment from the stunning Aussie singer Elizabeth Donald who debuted her latest single!

A special thanks to the
Victorian Government for their continued support over the years, and in particular Mr John Butler who has repatriated with his family back to Australia and has been replaced by Mr Gerard Seeber. Barakat helped with making our tables look good enough to eat by supplying the vegetables and PSAV created the magic with the lights and sound.

Thank you also to
Des Spencer who donated one of his original art pieces and to our generous raffle sponsor Etihad, Rosewood, Springbok & Nails. A good Aussie bash is not complete without a late night snack and our guests were spoilt with mouth-watering Springbok meat pies to round out the evening.
