As ever, our event schedule continues to heave with content for Australians in the UAE, tailoring to our members. Just this week we hosted an inspiring discussion with our Israeli counterparts at the Israel – Australia Chamber of Commerce, speaking with Australians that are true global leaders operating out of Israel. We’ve also joined forces with the Australian Business Council and the Australian Pavilion – Expo 2020 Dubai team to provide an update on what we can expect from Expo, both now and during the mega-event taking place in October this year.
Our next headline event will be one of AusBG’s signature events, International Women’s Day, we’ve held back nothing to put together a compelling programme of speakers. Kate Midttun will interview three women about their stores under the theme of Impact, not only within their industry but globally. We will be joined by Dr Jane Goodall, conservationist and founder of the Jane Goodall Foundation, household name thanks to her tireless work in animal and environmental conservation. Jessica Smith OAM, well known as one of the pillars of our Australian community in the UAE, will continue her story from former-Paralympian to our role and responsibility in diversity and the impact we can all have. Jessica Gersback, Director of Global Partnerships and Advocacy at The Fred Hollows Foundation and previously CEO of Vision 2020 Australia, will talk about impactful campaigns raising awareness, changing behaviour and influencing key decision makers.
We sincerely hope to welcome you to our International Women’s Day signature event, men and women alike. If you’d like to participate in or contribute to any of our events, we would love to hear from you. To join any of our upcoming events, please see the registration links below.
