ARGA are event specialist in venue operations with a focus on crowd logistics for major projects around the world. This focus includes crowd logistics, traffic & transport management and managing the flow of crowds at major events for an array of clients. These clients range form sporting venues, convention centers and special operations that require a trusted partner to successfully plan and operate their venue operations.
Some notable global collaborations include Olympic Games (Summer & Winter), FIFA World Cup & Club World Cups, F1, FE and many more special event operations.
The ARGA Team is proud to have been supporting the Etihad Formula One in Abu Dhabi for the past 12 years since the inaugural race in 2009. Being an integral part of this Flagship Event, ARGA has designed and delivered a world-class Traffic & Transport Plan to ensure the successful delivery of this complex project on Yas Island. ARGA is also responsible for all F1 Artist Movement and Logistics, managing the likes of Lionel Richie, Guns N’ Roses and Bon Jovi.
ARGA were also an integral partner of the 2019 Papal Visit of Pope Francis to Abu Dhabi, a globally telecast and complex in which ARGA undertook the management of transport and people movement for over 180,000 guests to and from the venue. This historic event used 2,400 buses and required 600 + ARGA staff to successfully manage operations.
Other notable UAE events projects include, the Abu Dhabi FIFA Club World Cup, Abu Dhabi Tour, UAE National Day and Abu Dhabi Art.
ARGA Project Manager Marcus Capaldo, originally from South Africa joined the ARGA Team in 2019 after completing a contract with Yas Marina Circuit for the 2018 Formula One Grand Prix and the inaugural 2019 FIA World Rally Cross. Prior to arriving in the UAE, Marcus spent eight years on the well-know Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar Motorsport Festival in Adelaide and well as the Santos Tour Down Under International Cycling Event and the joint AFL & Port Adelaide Football China Launch for the first international game for AFL points in Shanghai.
His scope of work with ARGA has included complex projects in Saudi Arabia including the inaugural Ad-Diriyah Formula-E, Jedda Season & Diriyah Season Festivals, as well as the recent UFC Flight Island in Abu Dhabi. This 42-day event saw the ARGA Team establish an 11km2 Covid-Safe Zone, a world first for the return on live events.
