“Victorian EdTech Summit, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman, 25-26 May
The Victorian State Government of Australia, through the Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office in Dubai, is organising a virtual education technology summit on Tuesday 25th & Wednesday 26th May in collaboration with Tarsus, the organisers of GESS Dubai, the largest B2B exhibition and conference in the Middle East for the education sector.
With the support of EduGrowth, Australia's peak body for the Education technology sector, the summit will bring together leading private and public sector organisations, and a significant network of universities and private education schools in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Oman.
Countries in the GCC are implementing nation-building strategies through education, and relevant government agencies focus on innovation and entrepreneurship to drive economies and create graduates job-ready for the digital age. Business concepts and ideas around high-tech and innovation in education that build skills and support the future of jobs receive substantial government support and funding through accelerator programs.
Schools and higher education institutions in the region are looking for solutions to help shift traditional campus-based learning to digital learning and the holistic development of students.
Focussed on the concept of sharing knowledge and best practice, Victorian EdTech firms participating in the VTM will connect with schools and higher education leaders and educators via Global Victoria's VTM platform. The summit sessions will engage in thought-provoking panel discussions and network virtually with speakers, local stakeholders, key figures, and potential customers from the GCC EdTech ecosystem.
