Melbourne EdTech Summit
Melbourne EdTech Summit, 8-10 September 2020
The Melbourne EdTech Summit is only weeks away. From 8-10 September 2020, EduGrowth – Australia’s national body for EdTech - will bring together leaders from Australia’s EdTech ecosystem and hand-picked global innovators to explore the education innovation agenda. The free, online event will include dedicated streams on thought leaders and entrepreneurship across three days. Global Victoria is the primary sponsor of the event.
The Summit aims to drive education innovation and provide a meeting place for education and EdTech leaders, industry participants and international delegates. The program will be divided into two main streams: a thought leadership plenary program in the mornings and series of workshops to build EdTech skills in the afternoons, as well as a pitch competition for emerging EdTech companies. Global Victoria is a major sponsor of this event which will be delivered by EduGrowth – the national body for EdTech.
Each day will include a mix of keynotes, panel discussions and fireside chat-style sessions, along with workshops and deep-dives covering the overarching conference themes of:
- Engaging offshore learners with digital education delivery
- Employability and the future of work
- Teaching skills in a digital world
Due to time difference, participants from the UAE and broader Middle East will have a chance to catch presentations and interactive discussions in Entrepreneurship Stream starting after 9am local time over three days, which will focus on entrepreneurship and capacity building through keynotes, panels and workshops in the afternoons.
Global Victoria invites teachers, principals, academics, school and higher education providers and investors, learning designers and developers, online learning specialists and EdTech entrepreneurs to join the event, as well as to connect and collaborate with Victoria’s education technology and innovation ecosystem.
